Rémi GARIN is a French tenor who starts his musical studies at the National Musical School of Annecy where he got the Golden Medal of the Lyric Art.

He has studied two years at the prestigious National Opera of Paris -Bastille and has obtained during this period many lyric awards like the International Sing Contest of Toulouse.

His repertoire includes the principal Italian composers (BELLINI, DONIZETTI, PUCCINI, VERDI or ROSSINI ), as well as the French composers (BERLIOZ, BIZET, DELIBES, GOUNOD, MASSENET, POULENC ), the Mozart's operas or the Slavic repertoire (TCHAÏKOVSKI, JANACEK). He takes part regularly in many opera productions outside France, his native country.

The concerts in France or abroad are a great part of his work: he has played 'Lélio' of H. BERLIOZ (directed by Yan-Pascal TORTELIER) and 'The Faust Symphony' of F. LISZT (directed by Marcello VIOTTI) for the ABC Radio at the Melbourne Festival in 1997, but also 'The Little Solemn Mass' and the 'Stabat Mater' of G. ROSSINI, The 'Messa di Gloria' of G. PUCCINI, 'The Creation' of F.J. HAYDN, 'The Requiem' of G. VERDI, 'La Messe solennelle Sainte Cécile' of C. GOUNOD, 'The Coronation Mass'; and 'The Requiem' of MOZART, 'The Ninth Symphony' and 'The Mass in C' of L. v. BEETHOVEN...

The last music season, he has played the part of Nemorino in 'L'Elisir d'Amore' at Saint-Etienne (France). He has played the 'Dialogues of the Carmelites' of F. POULENC (The Chevalier de la Force) at Nuremberg Opera in Germany where he has also participated at 'Lucia di Lammermoor' of G. DONIZETTI (Edgardo).
